I am starting to toilet train Erin since she turned two last month. Not much success yet though we were able to pee once and poo twice in the toilet. Other than that, it's still the old reliable nappy for us. She is so very cooperative though, as she can just sit on the toilet for long periods while we wait for her to go. But I guess in order for us to be more successful, I reckon we must have a schedule to keep so that some sort of routine may be established. Ah yes, what a challenge!
Last night alone, we had one accident and she peed in the living room. Thank God we have tiles instead of carpet in our lounge! I've also noticed that she was scared of doing a pee without her nappy on. I think she felt out of control and was frightened about this liquid coming out of her, with nothing to catch it with. She was apparently holding her pee back because of this, and we all know that's not a good thing. All I could do was reassure her until she finally let go.
Things like these help me to learn about the little girl more. And I am so enjoying it! As fast as the leaves on the trees are turning red and gold, this bubba of mine is finally becoming a kid. Yes, time truly flies.

im also potty training my lil boy.. been doing it for the past 3 weeks or so.. he has greatly improved on his pee control but there are days he doesnt want to pee maybe because he feels he is pressured to do so.. so i have to tell him to pee or he would be sick.. well, i think its still a long way to go but, its a sign our babies are growing up!
